The Healthy For Life ProgramThe Healthy for Life Program is cutting –edge and based entirely on medical research.The goal is to get the body into an anti-inflammatory state. Every disease starts in the cell and is a result of some type of inflammation. We live in a toxic world with high stress levels, the smoke and pollution we breathe, the high glycemic foods we eat, the trans fats, and the chemicals in our foods. What we accomplish with the Healthy Lifestyle Program is:
1. We reduce the oxidative stress in the body with the antioxidants;
2. We supply the essential, healthy fats;
3. We provide the proper amount of fiber, which helps the body cleanse of toxins; and
4. We help stabilize blood sugar levels, which also aids in reducing inflammation in the body.
The program includes 3 components: You will learn the importance of combining a Healthy Diet that does not spike your blood sugar, a Modest Exercise Program, and Cellular Nutrition.
The program includes:
1. Education: Dr. Ray Strand will send you detailed instructions each week via email to inform you and instruct you about the scientific evidence that supports your new recommended lifestyle changes.
2. Accountability: There are 3 choices of programs depending on your personal health concerns, preferences, and goals: The Coached Program, The Self-directed Program, and The Program for the Competitive Athlete. For each of these programs, You will record every meal, your daily exercise activity, and your consumption of the recommended cellular nutrition on your Personal Lifestyle Journal provided on this web site. It will take you less than two minutes a day to record this information, which will be reviewed by your Personal Healthy Lifestyle Coach each week. Your personal coach will be able to identify the most important areas that you need to address during the following week. If you choose the self directed program, your Personal Lifestyle Journal will be automatically graded, which will guide you in where you need to improve the most.
3. Motivation and Support: You will also receive a daily motivational and educational email direct from Dr. Strand. These messages will be filled with practical advice along with encouragement. In addition, you will receive 12 weekly trainings that will guide you into simple but specific lifestyle change.
